The SWIPE project: current and future work
We don't want to give too much away, but analyses on the following objects have been started:
- AR Cassiopeiae: this shows clear SPB pulsations in our light curves from the WIRE, BRITE and TESS satellites.
- AL Sculptoris: this shows both short-period and longer-period pulsations, probably SPB from the primary star and δ Scuti from the secondary star.
- AS Camelopardalis: this shows probable γ Doradus pulsations.
- TZ Mensae: this is a well-known eclipsing binary where we have found δ Scuti pulsations in the TESS light curve.
We have discovered pulsations in many more eclipsing binaries. Some have been independently found by other people, and we intend to gradually work our way through them.
